Excellent coverage - and I have to say I have been thankful for your other articles around the web clarifying the relationship between Article 9 and international law. I wonder if you ever got around to the promised "international law critique"?

I also have a related but perhaps out of nowhere question - is the legal distinction between international armed conflict and non-international armed conflict in international law meaningful at all in regards to interpretation of Article 9. A recent LDP proposal for a permanent SDF dispatch law made mention of being able to dispatch the SDF for this reason.

Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your content seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I'm not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I'd post to let you know. The design and style look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Thanks
